Why Does Alpine Aquascapes Have A Pond Tour?

It’s about a Lifestyle change: It’s about raising an awareness of having a holistic environment or personal sanctuary where you can re-introduce yourself to your spouse, your family or simple personal introspect on a daily basis. In a fast paced world this gives an opportunity to give back to the environment and recognize the natural pull of the ecosystem.

It’s about Education: As the 8-track player has been replaced with the CD player and technology changes rapidly the water garden industry is changing as well. Water gardening is not a pump in the middle of the pond, pour in the chemicals and turn on the UV lights. It’s about working with Mother Nature and establishing a well-balanced ecosystem.

It’s about Sight Seeing: Seeing a sunset together or a sunrise. It’s seeing dragonflies, birds, and butterflies for the first time in a long time. It’s seeing your family reconnect, get off the couch and see yourself stop for even just a minute to relax. When asked why we put on a pond tour, it is an opportunity for people to re-evaluate, learn and see just a glimpse of simplicity in a non-simplistic world.

Are you ready to be exposed to a case of Water Garden Fever, for which the pleasurable remedy is a water feature, of course! Alpine Aquascapes 2nd annual Moonlight Pond Tour will showcase 10 local water gardens in Katy, Texas.
It is our wish that you will experience an elegant evening amid the soothing sound of water, spellbinding underwater lighting and eye-catching Koi--- and be entertained by all the wonderful possibilities that ponds offer, and be among Pond tour enthusiasts who share your same interest.

We hope you experience something profoundly romantic on your Moonlight Pond Tour journey. Water gardens are mystical places, and what better time of year and hour to see them than right now, while the night is still young and you are young-at-heart.

Everyone wants a pond: they just don’t know it yet! March 8th--- in the company of water gardens and kindred spirits under the Moon’s glow--- the desire to create your own oasis will become crystal clear.

What is the Alpine Aquascapes Parade of Ponds?

The Alpine Aquascapes Parade of Ponds is presented each year by the water gardening experts at Alpine Aquascapes. This is the 5th year for Alpine’s Pond Tour, and we will highlight over 40 unique Water gardens in various neighborhoods throughout Katy, Texas. All water features on tour have been professionally installed by Alpine Aquascapes who are Certified Aquascape Contractors.

It gives pond owners a chance to share their private backyard sanctuaries with members of the community for one day of the year. It also gives people in the community a chance to see beautiful aquatic paradises and learn more about what’s involved with having a living water garden in the backyard.

Some are looking for ideas and design tips and others just enjoy looking at the colorful fish and blooming aquatic plants. Whatever you’re reason for attending, you’re sure to go away knowing more at the end of the day!
October 20th 2007, Saturday, is the day of the Alpine Aquascapes Pond Tour and our customers Water Gardens will be open to the public from 11:00am – 8:00pm.
